Our Executive Team

Mr. Ramnarain is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida, Massachusetts, Arkansas, and South Carolina. Aside from his prior experience as the CFO of a major Reverse Logistics company, he worked for 11 years in the Banking industry in Miami, FL. Prior to such, he spent two busy seasons as a Big 4 External Auditor in Boston, MA as well as in Miami. In all of these roles, Mr. Ramnarain spent countless hours meeting with Senior Management members pursuant to a variety of topics; functioning as the main liaison between the company and the External Auditors; developing a deep understanding of the Banking and Financial Services industries; and perfecting his extensive researching and documentation skills.

Mr. Ramnarain also spent 3 years as an Instructor for Becker CPA, the #1 CPA Exam Preparation company. He holds two Master's degrees -- the first one being a Master of Science in Accounting from Boston College and the second one being a Master of Taxation from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida.  

Mr. Ramnarain completed his undergraduate work at Fordham University in New York City, where he majored in Business Administration (concentrating in Finance) while working 20 hours each week in the field of Credit Analysis at a major municipal bond insurance company.

 Mr. Ramnarain's charitable work is also noteworthy as he is a Founding Forty member of the Envision Broward group within the United Way in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  He also serves (via Ravi Ramnarain, CPA, LLC) as a Board of Director member of the American Red Cross (Broward County chapter). 

While away from the office, Mr. Ramnarain enjoys family time with Mrs. Ramnarain.

Mrs. Ramnarain is a born Missourian with a knack for marketing, having grown up with two independently-contracted computer technologists as parents. She began her career journey at only 14, writing code with her mother. 

Mrs. Ramnarain is an expert at bringing people together, consistently organizing large Firm functions and acquiring client relationships. Mrs. Ramnarain also handles contract negotiations, HR/payroll services, and filling any missing roles in the company as needed. Additionally, she specializes in attaining media placements for the Firm.

 Mrs. Ramnarain has a strong STEM background.  She attended Graduate school at the University of Southern California, majoring in Clinical Nutrition (IFM and metabolic dysregulation focus). Her undergraduate studies were completed at Arizona State University; she remains a member of the ASU Alumni Honor Society. Mrs. Ramnarain has several years of hospital management experience and has taught Adjunct lectures at Missouri State University (covering clinical nutrition). She utilizes her background to benefit the Firm's clinical/MNT, fashion, and health/wellness clients.  

In her time away from the Firm, Mrs. Ramnarain is the seated Secretary of Red Cross South Florida as well as a Director (Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives) for the same. Mrs. Ramnarain is a signed Model with 'DECO Models' and 'Slate Models and Talent.' She enjoys working alongside several large and small brands, many of which become Ravi Ramnarain, CPA, LLC clients.

Mrs. Ramnarain also loves getting lost outdoors, creating recipes with altered macronutrient distributions, alternative music - and books of every shape and size.

Ravi Ramnarain, CPA, LLC is extremely proud to have Robert (Bob) Kelley as its Managing Director of Client Accounting Services! He joined us after a distinguished 37-year career at PwC, 27 of which he served as a partner. Bob is also a Harvard University graduate, having earned varsity letters in ice hockey and baseball during his collegiate days; he is also a lifetime member of the Harvard Varsity Cub. He is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts, splitting his time between Cape Cod and Jupiter, FL.

Bob is charge of Quality Control initiatives at Ravi Ramnarain, CPA, LLC, working closely with the Management team on a number of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting initiatives. We are elated to have his expertise as part of our growing staff (14 teammates and counting)!

DETAILED PROFILE:
 

Bob is a retired Senior Assurance Partner of PwC who also served as an International Team Leader in the Global Assurance Quality Review (GAQR) Group. He retired from the Firm in 2017. In his global role, Bob was responsible for the oversight of the Assurance quality programs of PwC network firms in South America, the Caribbean region, Ireland, and Israel. In this role, Bob worked closely with the Senior Leadership of those Firms as well as U.S. and International regulators. In addition, he was responsible for the overall resourcing of quality review teams throughout the network and oversaw the Quality Management Review element of the GAQR program. Bob qualifies as a “Financial Expert” as defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).

During his twenty-seven (27) years as a partner, Bob served as engagement partner for several multinational clients. In this role, he was responsible for directing the delivery of PwC services on a worldwide basis (South America, Asia, and Europe). With many of these clients, Bob was directly responsible for merger and acquisition due diligence and domestic and international public stock (IPOs) and debt offerings. Bob has significant public company reporting experience, including primary responsibility for ’34 Act filings, (10-Ks, 10-Qs and 8-Ks) and numerous forms of statutory filings, including Broker Dealer Focus reports and Business Development Companies (BDC) annual and quarterly filings. In connection with his client responsibilities, Bob worked extensively with Boards of Directors and Audit Committees of all sizes. His significant client responsibilities included many of PwC’s most significant Financial Service clients.

While at Harvard, Bob earned varsity letters in both Ice Hockey and Baseball. Bob is a lifetime member of the Harvard Varsity Club. He previously served as the Treasurer of the organization. He also served on the Board of the Greater Boston Boy Scouts Council and was a co-founder of the Greater Boston Private Equity CFO Organization.

  Mr. Chhabra has accumulated nearly twelve years of progressive experience in the fields of auditing, accounting, and financial reporting, with extensive exposure to both U.S. and international engagements. He currently leads numerous engagements across diverse industries for Ravi Ramnarain, CPA, LLC.

A licensed Chartered Accountant (U.S. CPA Equivalent), Mr. Chhabra is recognized as a subject-matter expert in U.S. GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and U.S. Federal and State Taxation. His experience encompasses end-to-end audit execution—from risk assessment and internal control evaluation to substantive testing, analytical review procedures, and preparation of audit documentation in accordance with AICPA Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).

Throughout his career, Mr. Chhabra has demonstrated a strong command of audit planning and sampling methodologies, substantive analytical procedures, reconciliation of complex accounts, and review of accounting estimates, accruals, and revenue recognition policies under ASC 606. He has also been instrumental in implementing quality control procedures and mentoring staff on audit documentation, working paper review, and adherence to independence and ethical standards.

His portfolio includes collaboration with a large number of U.S. and international corporations across sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, technology, and not-for-profit organizations. Through this experience, he has developed deep expertise in financial analysis, variance evaluation, and audit reporting, as well as the preparation of management letters and GAAP adjustment schedules to enhance financial statement accuracy and transparency.

Mr. Chhabra’s technical proficiency, combined with his analytical rigor and commitment to audit excellence, continues to make him a trusted advisor in complex financial reporting and assurance matters under U.S. GAAP, GASB, IFRS, and the broader U.S. regulatory framework.

Mr. Makkar is a licensed Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience across internal controls, statutory audits, internal audits, bookkeeping, US GAAP, and IFRS.  He is a former auditor with PwC and BDO, specializing in risk advisory and end-to-end audit management.  Mr. Makkar has successfully led the transition of Fortune 500 companies from local accounting systems to global ERP platforms.  He has managed complex consolidations, including entities with 48 subsidiaries across Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia.

Mr. Makkar has also been the creator of widely used Excel and Power BI courses; he is an expert in analytics-driven financial reporting.  Additionally, he is an influential audit educator, running India’s largest social media audit community (140,000+ followers).

Mr. Tyagi is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of professional experience specializing in General Ledger accounting and Controllership functions. He brings deep expertise in financial reporting, IFRS compliance, preparation of financial statements, audit support, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Tyagi has had the opportunity to work with leading global organizations, including AIG Analytics (Canada), Xceedance Consulting, and Intact India. In these roles, he has managed complex financial reporting processes, supported statutory and internal audits, ensured adherence to international accounting standards, and collaborated closely with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

Mr. Tyagi's well-rounded background in controllership and global financial operations reflects his commitment to accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence in every engagement.
